NARDOS the designer

At NARDOS Design, the creation of a custom garment is a true collaboration between client and designer. We strive to make the process of turning your dream gown into reality as effortless and enjoyable as possible. Below, you will discover information about what to expect when enlisting Nardos to design a custom creation for you.

After graduating high school, Nardos’ parents sent her to the United States to attend college where she planned to study to become a nurse. It only took a few classes, however, for Nardos to realize that her true passion was for design. At the age of 25, Nardos began studying costume design at El Centro College in Dallas—her first step toward creating couture gowns.

Following her graduation from college, Nardos was hired as the in-house designer at Richard Brooks. She went on to secure a position with Stanley Korshak in the Bridal Alterations department, where she caught the eye of several clients after wearing her own creations to work. After cultivating and directing her talent toward creating couture bridal and evening wear at Stanley Korshak, Nardos launched her own line, Nardos Couture, in 2009. In 2013 she re-launched under her name, Nardos Imam, before introducing the rebranded NARDOS Design label to much acclaim in 2016. In 2017 Nardos launched her first ready-to-wear line, a collection of daywear and cocktail attire that gives women access to couture looks at a more affordable price point. In every endeavor, Nardos seeks to create styles that reflect the beauty and grace of the women who wear them.

Nardos believes that her inspiration comes from above. She draws strength from her faith in the Lord, her family, and her community. Her love of print and color are reflected in each of her designs, and her passion for couture is reflected in every stitch she sews.
