"You are altogether beautiful, my darling, there is no flaw in you."

– song of songs 4:7

We are honored to create gowns that are worn during some of life’s most significant occasions, of which weddings are at the very top of the list. It is our joy to turn a bride’s long-held dreams about her wedding gown into a custom, timeless garment worthy of her walk down the aisle. While each design is unique in form, all NARDOS Design creations reflect four essential elements—elegance, sophistication, femininity, and grace. We live for personal touches and intimate details, like custom embroidered monograms or a little something blue sewn into the gown. We can even incorporate family heirlooms, such as a piece of lace from your mother’s wedding gown.

The process for custom bridal is the same as the process for custom couture, however, a slightly longer timeline is required. You will find an overview of the process below. Please visit our CUSTOM page for additional details and general pricing information.

  1. DESIGN CONSULTATION: During this interactive meeting, you will meet with a NARDOS Design brand representative in our salon to discuss ideas for your custom creation. You will also be invited to try on samples, review fabric options, and consider various embellishments during this time.
  2. MUSLIN FITTING: The muslin fitting helps us create the perfect pattern for your gown without cutting any of your actual fabrics and materials. During this fitting, you will be dressed in a simple white cotton fabric that reflects the shape and cut of your design. This is the best time to make any design changes since your fabric has not been cut yet.
  3. FIRST FITTING: During your first fitting you will be dressed in your actual gown, created using your selected fabrics and materials. You will need to bring the shoes you plan to wear with your gown to this fitting so that we can accurately mark the hem length. If your gown has multiple layers, we often only fit the innermost layer during this time to ensure the perfect fit before cutting additional layers.
  4. SECOND FITTING—FINAL FITTING: Following the first fitting you will have several more fittings to achieve the perfect look. The number of additional fittings varies from client to client, and depends on the complexity of the design.
