The ever so poised Jan Strimple wore a Nardos Design couture gown especially made for her to announce the 2016 Crystal Charity Ball theme. The inspiration behind the gown came from the Haute Couture world of Christian Dior in the 1950’s to bring the theme to life. It took many hours of fitting, draping and constructing of the skirt, and lace placement to finish-out the gown. The silhouette was emphasized by a bodice and full dramatic skirt with architectural structures covered in beautiful floral motifs on white Chantilly lace. It was spectacularly magical to see the finished look of this gown that was so exquisitely engineered and crafted by Nardos.
This year the Crystal Charity Ball announcement was held at the home of Lisa and Clay Cooley in the beautiful Bluffview Estates. Jan Strimple gracefully and elegantly strolled down the staircase to announce this year’s theme while wearing our couture gown and a beautiful headpiece created by Junior from the Garden Gate. The audience was in awe over the beauty! We were so delighted for the opportunity to collaborate with the Crystal Charity Ball to create a couture gown for Jan Strimple for this year’s announcement party.
